L'Oreal Elvive Aqua Serum

I always enjoy to use a serum and majority of the time I use more oil style serums such as Moroccan Oil which is just a life saver for me but throughout Summer I have been looking out for something a little lighter that won't weigh my hair down in the heat. So when I spotted this little beauty in Boots on the 3 for 2 offer I just had to snap it up, it is mainly for fine to normal hair which fits the bill just perfectly for me as my hair strands themselves are very fine but I have a lot of them giving the illusion of thick hair so it very easily gets weighed down if the products I use are quite thick and heavy.

I have just been using this serum on the ends of my hair and with it being enriched with 'keratin-polish' it smooths each strand of hair leaving it polished for 24 hours. The only thing I find with this serum is that it creates a really sleek and polished look, so great if you want lovely straight locks however straight hair just doesn't suit me and my hair is naturally quite wavy so I tend to style my hair in waves or curls which is quite hard to achieve when using this serum as it just doesn't give that grip that I need for my waves to stay in place all day, they literally just drop the moment I step out the door. But this is just personal preference, I'm sure this serum would be lovely for anyone wanting to achieve a straight super sleek look. It does however do a great job at keeping any frizz or flyaway hairs at bay and gives a lovely glossy finish. Also, it has a heat protectant built into the serum so is perfect to use on damp hair before blow drying.

Honestly, I don't think I will re purchase this, not because there is anything wrong with the product as it is lovely. It just doesn't suit my personal hair type unfortunately.
