Born Pretty Makeup Review

So does this packaging remind anyone of a certain brand? Topshop maybe? The two lip items are from Born Pretty Store. It is an online store which sells an incredible amount of products, nail care, brushes, stationary, jewellery...all sorts. When Alicia from Born Pretty got in touch with me to see if I would like to try out a couple of items from their store I jumped at the chance.

I received a lip crayon and a lip stick both in reddish tones which are perfect for this time of year and just in time for New Years Eve. The lip crayon, you can see me wearing this in the first picture, is a lovely sheer sparkly consistency with a hint of red. The crayon applies really easily to the lips, the staying power of this isn't all that great but honestly I didn't expect it to stay on throughout a whole night of drinking and eating with it being more of a gloss and sheer consistency. It's not drying on the lips either so topping up and layering on isn't a problem. The lip stick is a lovely orange toned red colour and has a beautiful glossy finish to it. This stuff is pretty incredible, it stains the lips slightly so helps to give a denser colour and stays put all night and when I say all night I mean all night. It has a lovely moisturising element and doesn't dry lips out at all. To see the lip stick on see the second picture.

Born Pretty have also supplied me with a discount code for 10% off which is AMDH10. It is certainly worth a look on their site, they have some great items at really reasonable prices plus with the 10% off you really can't go far wrong. The shipping time was around 3 weeks which in the grand scheme of things isn't a great deal.

Thank you again Alicia for the lovely products.
