Day 17 Christmas Countdown - L'Oreal Eye Palette

One of my favourite things about Christmas is the limited edition releases. Whether it be eye shadows, powders, lip glosses, you name it I will buy it if it's limited edition. And let me just say it's about time the high street caught up with the premium brands and created a good nude palette.

This palette has been spreading like wild fire throughout the blogging community and they are pretty hard to come by let me tell you! But I finally managed to get my mitts on one at Meadowhall in Sheffield. With it's lovely range of peaches, pinks, browns, taupes and purples/berries it really is the palette that dreams are made of.

Containing 10 shades, 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer shades, you can pretty much create any look you want from a natural daytime look to a dramatic smokey. The shadows are all of a lovely buttery/creamy texture and work wonderfully together. The palette comes encased in a glossy black case which is slim but sturdy and also contains a mirror and double ended brush for application.

This is the palette I have been reaching for on every occasion, I just love it. The shadows stay put all day and night and there is minimal fall out. Being a self confessed beauty junkie I own my fair share of eye shadow palettes and this one, in my opinion, is one of the best. Better than a number of premium palettes. With the nicest mix of shades and the standard of quality this palette is a must for all ladies, it gives a premium experience without the premium price tag.

Have you tried this palette? What do you think of it?

  1. I love the shades in this palette, they are right up my street and the sleek packaging makes it so travel friendly but I do think the quality of these could be a bit better considering it's L'Oreal x

    1. I always love palettes for travel purposes. I think the quality is good when considering the price tag and compared to others such as the Naked palettes I don't think there is a lot in it xx

  2. I haven't tried this out yet, I don't think I've seen any at the stands! Must be all sold out! I'd love to give it a go though, I do love the shades :) xx

  3. The high street have really tried to rival the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, it's a great affordable option.

    1. I agree Kat, it's a great alternative if you can't afford the Naked palettes or others in that price range xx
