Day 9 Christmas Countdown - Body Shop Shimmer Cubes

I have heard so many good things about the Body Shop Shimmer Cubes and with it being party season n all I decided to indulge and picked up the quad in shade Warm. I love how the cubes can be removed from the plastic housing and re arranged, if you're going away for the night or on holiday and have one favourite shade then you can just simply take that one cube instead of the whole case which I find absolutely great.

Each cube is a very generous 4 gram of product, which is a lot of eyeshadow, this bad bay will last you for years to come. The shadows are extremely well pigmented and can be used wet or dry, I have been enjoying using them wet with either an angled brush or eyeliner brush along my lash line. The Warm set contains 4 shades: Honeycomb, Dark Chocolate, Marshmallow and Choc Chip and I must say with my neutral colour palette these shades fit in very well.

Honeycomb: this is a lovely copper/bronze shade, it looks lovely all over the lid and also creating a natural bronzed smokey eye.
Dark Chocolate: this is a lovely rich chocolate brown, this is my favourite of the four shades. It is great for creating a smokey eye and also blending into the lower lash line rather than using an eye liner.
Choc Chip: this is a lighter brown colour with a silver shimmer running through it. I like to use this all over the lid and also to create a day time smokey eye with  Marshmallow.
Marshmallow: this is a pale pinky colour, and is lovely all over the lid and also just dotted in the inner corner of your eye to create the illusion of bigger brighter eyes.

The shadow picks up really well onto the brush and smoothes onto the eye lid so effortlessly, they all blend together really well and four shades work in harmony together so you can mix and match which shades you wear together. I often use Marshmallow all over the lid and use Dark Chocolate as an eye liner. My eye lids are extremely oily and these shadows stay put all day so I am very impressed by them, no creasing or fading. The colours are just so lovely especially for the festive season.
For £16.00 they are great value for money, making each shadow just £4.00 each and as I mentioned above you get 4 grams of eye shadow in that price! I will certainly be trying the other shades in the range soon.
