#13 Sunday Sounds - This Months Empties

So another month gone, I don't quite know where the time is going at the moment. I've been so busy with work and bits and bobs that I don't think I realised where the month has gone. Well anyway, here are my empties for the month of March.

First up is this French Connection Body Lotion, I got this lotion within a gift set for Christmas and I have just absolutely loved it. It is quite a thick consistency but doesn't feel greasy whatsoever on the skin. I have just loved this.

Next is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, I love this stuff. I tend to use it 2-3 times a week and leave it on for a good 5-10 minutes. I love how it lathers up slightly and just leaves your hair so incredibly soft and conditioned. It also gives your hair colour a great boost when it is looking a little lacklustre.

The MAC Brush Cleaner wasn't one of my favourites really, I found to be really greasy/oily and it took forever to wash my brushes with this. I had to use a lot of product for each brush meaning the bottle really didn't last that long at all. I just couldn't really get on with this product at all.

I received a sample of this Elemis Hydra-Nourish Night Cream when I purchased a full sized item just before Christmas and have been using as my night cream for the past month and actually really loved it. It is really quite thick in consistency but doesn't feel greasy or heavy on the skin at all. I did really like this and might think about purchasing a full sized tube at some point. I also got a sample size of the REN Revitalising Night Cream which I liked but I didn't love. I love receiving samples for items, it gives you the opportunity to try products which you either wouldn't normally think of getting yourself and also to see if the products actually work for you first before purchasing.

Another sample this month was this REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask which I have completely fallen in love with. I will most certainly be buying a full sized tube of this. The mask goes on really evenly and once removed leaves your skin feeling and looking pretty incredible.

Lastly is my beloved Clarins Everlasting Foundation, this is a medium to full coverage foundation and is quite thick in consistency and just suits my skin perfectly. I've tried other foundations and nothing has ever come close to this, I have re purchased this foundation probably in the region of around 8-10 times since first ever using it which I think says a lot about the product.

So they're my empties this month, have you tried any of these products?

  1. It's a shame about the MAC brush cleaner - i've been tempted to try it recently, but I think i'll give it a miss. The Clarins foundation sounds lovely though!

    1. It just seemed to seperate and wasn't that good. The clarins foundation is just my all time favourite, gives such good coverage but doesn't look cakey xx

  2. I used to always buy the little sachets of the Aussie 3 minute miracle but I never branched out and bought the full size bottle but this post has reminded me how good it was so its about time I invested in it! x

    1. It works out a lot more cost effective to buy the bottle but I always think the little pouches are great for holidays and travelling xx
