#1 Forever Re Purchasing

As a self confessed beauty addict I quite often don't re purchase products as I like to try out new brands and different types of product so it takes something pretty special for me to purchase it again once the first one has ran out. I also often don't use products up, I find myself really loving a product and getting half way down the bottle and end up finding something new to try or decide I don't like it so it just gets pushed to the back of the cupboard which means I don't re purchase it because I still have some left.

But when I was actually looking through my beauty cupboard and drawers I actually realised there are a lot of products which I re purchase without even thinking about it so instead of trying to cram everything into one post I am going to do a short series over the next couple of months.

For today I am concentrating more on the face, so skincare and base products. First up is the Elemis Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser, containing vitamin E & F and also rose extracts, this is so lovely and gentle on the skin and perfect for my dehydrated and dry skin. I tend to use this cleanser more in the mornings than in the evenings as I don't find that it's heavy enough to remove all traces of makeup. It is quite a light cleanser which makes it perfect for the mornings. It doesn't leave any greasiness behind and just generally helps to make the face look that little bit brighter and youthful. I also just love the smell of this, anything rose scented is just onto a winner with me.

The REN Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream is one of my favourite day creams. The thing I love most about REN as a brand is their clean philosophy. With having sensitive skin I like to know the products that I am buying are free from all the normal rubbish like parabens, sulphates, silicones and synthetics. The cream itself is really thick and luxurious which I love, I know some people prefer lighter fluid moisturisers but this is just perfect for me. Even though it is thick it isn't greasy in the slightest. Throughout Winter I have been turning more towards a thicker more hydrating cream but this is just lovely for the Spring/Summer months. The only negative with this cream is that it doesn't contain an SPF which isn't really a problem for me as I use a foundation that contains an SPF but I know that this would bother some people.

When it comes to my base I just cannot fault this Clarins Everlasting Foundation. I can't actually tell you how many bottles I've gone through of this foundation but it is my all time favourite. The coverage is medium to full and is super buildable. It just gives the nicest finish to the skin and lasts for absolutely ages. The colour match is just perfect for me as well which is a massive bonus, I often really struggle to find a foundation which is just the right shade but this is right on point. It contains an SPF which I know some of you snap happy people dislike but for me I prefer to have an SPF in my foundation than in my cream. And honestly even though this foundation contains an SPF I never really look white on any photos. No other foundation has ever lived up to this one. Carrying on with the base theme, the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer is just my all time favourite. It totally disguises dark circles and doesn't go cakey at all. I think I'm now on something like my fourth pen.

Of course I had to give a little shout out to my favourite primer, the Dior Glow Maximiser. You guys know how much I love primers so I'm not gonna whittle on about it but this is just the ultimate for me. It's a primer and highlighter in one and it's just so versatile. It is a little on the pricey side but one tube tends to last me a good 6 months and that's applying 2 or 3 times a week and also using as a highlighter so I think that's pretty good value.

And lastly, Revlon Color Burst Lip Lacquer in Demure 105 - Oh my god, I love, love, love this lip product! I'm not one for big bright or red lips, I would rather have more statement eyes than lips so a nice subtle pink or peach is right up my street. This lip crayon is just my absolute go to at the moment, I use it for day time and night time and it seems to match my natural lip colour perfectly. I love how there is also a slight shimmer to this lip crayon giving a more glam look. I honestly cannot put into words how much I love this lip crayon but seeing as I am now on my fourth one I think that probably tells you how much I love it.

So there we have it, the first series of my forever re purchasing products. What products do you re purchase, do you use any of the products that I have mentioned above?
