5 Products Worth The Hype

In the beauty industry we love a good hyped product, it's what we live for and it's we love about the industry but not all products are worth their hype. As a beauty blogger and a woman in fact I often feel pressured into buying all the new releases to review and include on my blog, but actually when you think about it, just because the product is hyped does not for one minute mean it's going to a good buy. You need to be doing your research first about a product before buying it just because the beauty industry is hyping it up.

But anyway, enough of that, I thought I would bring you the products that I believe are worth the hype and am so glad I purchased. First is the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. Every beauty blogger and their dog owned this cleanser and couldn't stop praising it. I had heard so many great things about this cleanser from other bloggers that I desperately wanted to try it but the word 'gel' completely put me off. Needless to say it really isn't anything like a gel whatsoever. I personally would describe it as more of a gel/balm that transforms into this luxurious oil upon contact with the skin. This feels so soothing on the skin and leaves skin looking and feeling glowy, youthful and plumped. I am in love with this cleanser and am so glad that I bought into the hype, I love it so much that I have nearly finished this one and will most certainly re purchase and keep doing so until it's discontinued.

Then we have the By Terry Ombre Blackstar Cream Shadow Sticks. I picked this up in shade Bronze Moon, you all know how much I love bronze shades for my eyes. Oh my god is this stuff amazing or what. It glides onto the lid so effortlessly, it doesn't drag the lid at all. It's so creamy in formula and stays put all day. When blended in all over the lid it looks like 5 different shades all blended together. I am completely in love with this, you all know how I love my cream shadow sticks and this is just the creme de la creme of all shadow sticks. Without a doubt I will be purchasing more shades from this little collection.

Next is the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, yep I think pretty much every single one of us beauty bloggers have either previously owned this foundation or currently own it. It gives a medium coverage with a dewy glowing finish. There's not a lot I can about this foundation other than I absolutely love it and is completely worth the hype surrounding it.

I've got another NARS favourite next, it's the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in shade Cruella. These pencils get so much publicity and there's good reason for it, these pencils are just dreamy. They glide on like a dream and stay put all day and night through eating, drinking, chatting, kissing, you name it. Obviously they are matte so are slightly drying but nothing too drastic and to combat this I just apply a thin layer of lip balm before applying.

And lastly is the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow contour duo, this is what dreams are made of. The contour shade is a universal grey toned shade that is buildable so you can tailor it to any skin tone. The highlighting shade is gold in tone which suits me down to the ground. Everything about this duo just screams luxury, from the product itself to the rosey gold packaging.

So they're the five products that I believe are worth the hype surrounding them, what do you think? Do you agree? Or disagree?
