Nick bought me this little duo last year for my birthday and I have been absolutely loving it ever since. This was also my very first Charlotte Tilbury product which is a milestone in any girls life! For me, contouring was never a massive priority, if going on a night out I would crack out the Body Shop Honey Bronze to give a little structure to the face but that was pretty much it until this little gem came into my life.
The palette contains 2 shades, one contouring shade and one highlighting shade, both encased in this beautiful rosey gold packaging. The contour shade is a matte grey toned powder, the shade is meant to be a 'suit all skin tones' shade which initially I wasn't too sure about but after using I can totally understand why. When applied lightly the hollows of the cheeks, jawline and temples it gives a very subtle shadow effect, the powder is completely buildable so for darker skin tones it can just be built up to give a stronger colour.
The highlighting shade is the perfect shade for me, it is a warm golden toned shade that is seriously pigmented so you honestly only need the tiniest amount otherwise you end up looking like a disco ball. When applied to the cheek bones, bridge of the nose, chin, brow bone and middle of the fore head the face is given a lovely 'lit from within' effect.
After having this palette introduced into my life I have never looked back, it is absolutely fool proof and gives the most subtle/natural effect with minimal effort...my kind of product!
Have you tried this little duo? What are your thoughts on it?

DeleteI've been dying to try this! I think I may splurge once summer's over and I'm off of my "cream face products only" kick I seem to be on right now.
