My Top Premium Foundations

I would say I sway a lot between drugstore and premium foundations, there's only probably 3 drugstore foundations that I actually really like and would re purchase and the rest of my collection consists of premium foundations. I actually own more premium foundations than I realised so I thought I would put these into a post for you.

I always think with premium foundations the shade range is so much better, there is a lot more choice so is better for paler or darker skinned ladies. Generally speaking I do tend to go for more premium foundations as I have just found them to be more long lasting and better coverage over the years.

Within my collection I have the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation which is a really light consistency, it blends super easy into the skin and gives that 'my skin but better' finish. MAC Studio Fix Foundation is one we all know and love, it gives great coverage without looking cakey. The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, I love this foundation. It gives a lovely dewy finish to the skin with good coverage. The Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation is very similar to the NARS Sheer Glow foundation but much lighter in consistency and coverage so it's better for a more natural finish. Lastly it's the Clarins Everlasting Foundation, this is the foundation that I turn to when I need my foundation to last all day. It literally stays put all day so I don't have to worry about touching up throughout the day.

I love every single one of these foundations and wouldn't be without any of them. Have you tried any of these foundations? What do you think of them?

  5. Hi Amanda, nice foundations although I as much as I keep eyeing Nars foundations I've not tried one yet. I keep hearing they are great for an oilier skin so, having a drier skin I'm not quite sure. What is the texture and coverage of the Burberry like too?

    1. The Burberry one is just beautiful. I have dry skin and it works really well with it. The coverage I would say is light to medium xx

  6. Sheer Glow and Fix Fluid are two of my favourites, although I haven’t worn them in a while. I’ve been opting for a lighter base with Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturiser.
