Recent Empties

So you all know I'm having a product using up binge at the moment, especially for skincare items as I just have so many and there really isn't any need to have that many cleansers. She says.

So anyway these are my recent empties, first is the Clarins Extra-Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream. I do like this cleanser but it's quite heavy in consistency and there are other cleansers out there that I prefer so I won't be re purchasing this.

Next is the V05 Ultimate Hold Hairspray, I get through tons of this stuff. I swear I always have one bottle in every empties post that I do. I love this hairspray it just holds so well and doesn't give the horrid crunchy feel that some hairsprays give. I have re purchased this hairspray so many times and I don't feel the need to try any other hairsprays at this just works so well for me, if it ain't broke and all that.

This Palmolive Delicate Care Shower Milk is one of my all time favourite shower products, I do much prefer milks and creams to gel body products as my skin is really dry and gel based products just seem to dry my skin out even more. This is so cheap but smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturised after a quick shower.

I bought this COLAB Dry Shampoo for my Paris trip as I didn't want to take a big bottle with me. I actually much preferred the product in this smaller bottle than the bigger ones, it seems to be a lot more lighter in consistency. I find this sometimes that a product is actually better in the smaller versions, not sure how this works but it is almost like the consistency is different and more pressurised in the smaller containers.

I like to wear brown mascaras more than black as it just suits me more and it gives a softer finish to the eyes. This MaxFactor Masterpiece Mascara is my ultimate favourite. It gives lashes a full and voluminous finish with no clumping. I have re purchased this mascara at least 3 or 4 times which says it all really. Another makeup item is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, I love this concealer. I tend to use it under my eyes and it always gives a bright eyed and bushy tailed effect. This is another product that I have repurchased.

Lastly there are a few skincare items, first is the Soap & Glory Beauty Sleep Accelerator Cream. I had loads of creams in my skincare cupboard that needed using up and this is one of those. The cream itself is fine, there's nothing wrong with it whatsoever but it also doesn't really give any real benefit to my skin. I won't be repurchasing this. Another product I just used to use up and free up space is this Bettyhula Secret Wonder Oil, this is another one of those it's fine products but didn't improve my skin at all. My sister bought me a set of Sarah Chapman Skincare for Christmas last year which is what started my obsession. I absolutely love these two items, I've got the Ultimate Cleanse and Overnight Facial. Both items I have re purchased and have been loving both products. They have made a massive difference to my skin and have helped to reduce dryness. Sarah Chapman products are a little pricey and maybe not for everyone's budget but I am a big believer in investing in skincare.

So they're my empties for this month. Have you tried any of these products?

  4. I've gone through so many tubes of that Max Factor mascara - I love it! I really want to try some Sarah Chapman bits, but am always a little reluctant to make the splurge!

    1. Isn't it lovely! You could always buy the little sets which for around £40.00 but that gives a 3 or 4 little tubes of the product so you can try them first xx
