Goodbye Puffy Eyes

Whenever anyone asks me what's my favourite time of the year my answer will always be Autumn/Winter, why? I have one word, well maybe two...I'm not sure. Hayfever. Summer is always completely and utterly ruined by hayfever. I can't sleep with the window open as it lets all the pollen in, I can't sleep with the window closed as it makes my sinuses stuffy, I can't hang my washing out to dry outside, I can hardly wear any eye makeup, long summer nights can't be enjoyed outside in a pub garden because I will be sat constantly sneezing with red puffy eyes...the list is endless and I'm sure a large percentage of you, my lovely readers, agree with me and go through exactly the same ordeal. Rant over. Now that I've got that out of my system it's leads me nicely onto today's post, the products I use to ease my hayfever induced puffy eyes.

The first product I use is the Liz Earle Eyebright. I have only recently purchased this but oh my am I glad I did. I will be writing a full review on this product soon so I don't want to say too much but I genuinely love this product. I use it remove my minimal eye makeup at the end of the day and then soak another couple of cotton pads with the product and leave on my eyes for a good 5 minutes. It just helps to really soothe the eye area and reduce any puffiness.

As a night eye cream I have been using the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Eye Recovery. This is jam packed full of peptides, antioxidants and vitamins so targets puffiness and dark circles which is exactly what I need at the moment. It also contains natural plant extracts to give a hydration kick to the eye area which is always very welcome. After a long day in the office my eyes are so puffy and dry that this is just the hydration kick that they need.

For the mornings I have been using the Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate. This is packed full of plant stem cells that instantly refresh the eyes and help to reduce the appearance of bags and fatigue. Honestly the main thing I love about this is the metal roller ball, that in itself cools and soothes the eye area. It's really quick to sink into the skin so is perfect for morning use to apply before your makeup. I also keep this on me in my handbag to roll over my eyes throughout the day.

These three products are just my current dream team, they all work at reducing puffiness, injecting hydration and help to improve signs of fatigue. If any of you lovely lot are suffering from hayfever then I would highly recommend these products to help improve your symptoms.
