My Favourite MAC Pigments

MAC Pigments are one of my favourite things in life. Yep, I love them that much. Oh they're just so pretty. So I wanted to bring you my top three all time favourites, which I have owned now for years so as you can see the packaging is now slightly different. Also can I just say, the amount of product that you get in these little tubs is just immense as you literally only need the tiniest of amounts for great colour payoff so quite frankly I can see these lasting me til the day I die.

Firstly, it's Chocolate Brown. This is just the most beautifully rich chocolate brown shade. It has a slight metallic shimmer to it which just gives it that edge over normal ordinary brown colours. Now you know how much I love my browns for the eyes, especially when creating a smokey eye and this is perfect for just that. It has almost a reddy golden tone to it which is just beautiful. I love this shade for the more Winter months, with it's rich hues and deep tones.

Next is Copper Sparkle. You know me and my coppers, it's like an endless love affair. This is such a soft and subtle copper shade. It has a lovely rose gold tone to it and hits the light perfectly to give such a beautiful effect. I just love this all over the lid on it's own or paired with a bronze shade to blend together.

Lastly, it's Jardin Aires. This is just shimmer in a bottle. It's the perfect warm toned champagne shade. The only way I can describe this is by saying it's like the Charlotte Tilbury highlighting shade from the Bronze and Glow palette in pigment form. It's beautiful. I use it either all over the lid as a base shimmer shade to a smokey eye or I also use as a general highlighter for my face.

So there you have it, a pretty short but sweet post but I just wanted to share these with you as I just completely adore all three of them.

  4. Mac pigments are heaven to me, I have a few and really don't use them as much as I should, but when I do I always get compliments. Mac Mellon is probably my favourite :)
