#37 Sunday Sounds - Sunday Pamper Treats

Recently, I have been having a pretty stressful time. I've started a new job, I'm moving house, my parents are splitting up and I'm trying to run a full time blog at the same time and it's all gotten on top of me a little recently. You might have noticed that there wasn't a blog post yesterday and today's blog post is a little late going up, I'm sorry for any of you that were disappointed yesterday with no post but I'm just so tired and stressed out I felt I needed a little break. The next few weeks are gonna be just as busy and I will try my very hardest to keep blogging every single day but please just bear with me as there may be the odd day when I just can't keep up.

So with this in mind, today's blog post seems only right being a pamper on and I will most definitely be using these products tonight.

Firstly, a good ole scrub. The Body Shop Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub is so luxurious, it's a creamy salt scrub containing skin softening butters from Africa that will leave skin silky soft and smooth with a subtle scent that just smells of spa. It's a really thick and creamy scrub, it has an almost buttery texture and melts into your skin when massaged in. I love this stuff. It makes my skin feel so incredibly soft and moisturised and the scent just relaxes me instantly, it's the perfect scrub for a pamper night.

Then for my hair, I slather on this Moroccanoil Treatment into the ends of my hair. Thanks to it's ultra light formula it instantly sinks into the hair without leaving any residue or greasiness behind and the hair is left feeling silky soft with a healthy shine.

Then for my face, I give it a good scrub with the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel. This isn't like any normal facial scrub, it's a two step process. Step one is the exfoliating crystals, you apply these onto the face and massage gently, then for step two you apply a teaspoon amount of a salicylic acid activating gel and massage on top of the crystals. This leaves skin feeling so incredibly soft and ready for the week ahead. I then, after this, apply the Lancome Hydra Intense Face Mask, this is a gel mask that you apply and leave to sink in then tissue off the excess. I apply this just before bed and leave on all night long, by morning my face has pretty much soaked up the whole mask, any tiny bit of residue left I tissue off but my skin is always that dehydrated that it normally soaks up the entire mask. My skin is left plump and hydrated after this mask and ready for the next week.

So that's it, my Sunday pamper treats. What are yours?

  2. O gosh sorry to hear your life has been beyond hectic lately! It's crazy how it all seems to stack up, huh? But these all sound so lovely! I've been wanting to try the Philosophy peel for a while now, it sounds like it's worth every penny :)
