August Favourites

So it's that time of the month again where I'm picking out my favourites that I have been using this month. There's been quite a few new additions to my collection over the past couple of weeks which I have been using and testing out and majority of them are in this favourites post.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation, this is a really lightweight foundation, it blends super easy into the skin and gives that 'my skin but better' finish. It gives a very dewy finish on my skin so I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for oily skin types but for dry and normal types then this is just dreamy to use. I have been using this pretty much non stop throughout August and I just absolutely love it.

Soap and Glory Hocus Focus, I love this stuff. It gives a really natural subtle glow to the skin and it always gives my makeup that extra boost of radiance that I am so very craving at the moment. I have really been loving using this with the Bobbi Brown Foundation, it gives a really subtle and natural finish to the face.

Revlon Powder Blush - 008 Racy Rose, this is my perfect bright pink blush. It's a real true pink and looks so pretty and fresh on the apples of the cheeks.

Collection Creme Puff Lip Cream - 3 Fairy Cake, this is really creamy when first applied and gives a matte finish once dry. It's actually quite moisturising on the lips given it's a matte finish. This particular shade is a really pretty coral pink and is perfect for this time of year. I have been wearing in the day time and it has been lasting a fair few hours of the day without having to top up.

Mandara Spa Foot Butter*, this contains contains jojoba oil which helps to soften the skin and rosemary, lavender and sweet orange for their relaxing scent. It gives an instant relief to dry and tired feet, I have been applying at night since I received it and my feet are noticeably softer and dry skin is a thing of the past. I used to rely heavily on the Soap & Glory Heel Genius but I'm afraid it's now taken a backseat after this little beauty appeared on my door step.

Mandara Spa Bali Santi*, this is probably my most favourite item of the lot, generally I'm not a massive fan of gel based shower products as they really dry my skin out so the moment I laid my eyes on this product it was love. When dispensed it's an oil but the moment it is within contact of water or applied to the body it turns into a rich creamy milk. It contains coconut and sweet almond oil that both help to nourish and moisturise the skin. I am just totally smitten with this product and can't ever imagine using anything else.

So they're my favourites for the month for August, what are your favourites? Have you tried any of the above products?

  4. I just picked up a sample of the BB longwear foundation and can't wait to try it. It's a brand that I have tried very little from.

  5. I love the sound of all of these products, especially the BB foundation, I've tried Moisture Rich which is ideal for summer but longwear sounds perfect for the A/W!
