Guest Post with Not In These Shoes: Light Lips For Autumn

Hi lovelies, I’m Rebecca from Not In These Shoes (@notintheseshoes), Amanda kindly asked me if I wanted to guest post on her beautiful blog – which of course I accepted.  I wanted to share with you all two of my recent lip favourites (which are even handbag status!).

Not a typical autumn pick, but something that I haven’t been able to put down recently is these Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfectors. I have these in 05 Candy Shimmer, a lovely pink, and 06 Rosewood Shimmer, a brown nude.  They leave a lovely glossy, moisturising finish with the perfect amount of shimmer – don’t worry, you won’t look like you’ve been kissing glitter! 

These are definitely a lip gloss, rather than a liquid lipstick so even though they are reasonably pigmented, they aren’t opaque if this is what you were expecting. The longevity isn’t great, you definitely need to re-apply these regularly however this doesn’t bother me personally and I know not to wear these on days where I won’t have time to top up! I love the applicator of these as they’re super easy to apply with the sponge type applicator – and it minimises any mess!

I got these two in a set in Duty Free, and whist 05 isn’t a colour I would usually go for, it’s really grown on me and I love how it adds a girly edge to my make up. They do 6 colours in total, ranging from nudes, to browns, to peaches so there is definitely a colour for everyone. I will definitely be picking more of these up when they run out and will be trying out some of the other colours.
