Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

When it comes to skincare Liz Earle is a household name, the majority of the population have heard of the cult Cleanse & Polish and I reckon a good portion of the female population have got at least one Liz Earle skincare item in their bathroom cupboard. I love the brand itself, it's very natural, British and actually pretty reasonably priced.

When it comes to exfoliating my skin I tend to prefer chemical exfoliants just because I find physical exfoliators a bit too harsh on my skin, but I have heard some really great things about this product so purchased it nontheless and let me tell you I was not disappointed.

It's a lovely thick and creamy formula containing Jojoba beads to gently exfoliate and buff away the dead skin cells and impurities from the surface of the skin. In my opinion it's the perfect exfoliator for this time of year. Not only does it work to exfoliate the skin but it also contains Beeswax to protect and relieve chapped skin, Glycerin to help maintain hydration levels in the skin and Sweet Almond Oil to moisturise skin and keep it feeling and looking soft and supple.

I have been using this 2-3 times a week after cleansing and it has made a very noticeable difference to my skin, my skin is clearer, smooth and has brought my skin to a stage where I don't even wear foundation now, I just use concealer and powder. It has definitely taken pride of place in my bathroom cupboard, I'm so glad I bought it.

Have you tried this exfoliator? What do you think of it?

  6. I'm still yet to try any Liz Earle products. I'm planning on trying the Hot Cloth Cleanser after I've run out of my current cleanser so I'll have to give this a go too!
