My Birthday Makeup

This year I will be spending my birthday in Ibiza, yep, I could think of worse places to be. Normally my birthday makeup consists of a bronze toned eye and berry or red lips with it being Autumn n all, but this year I'll be on holiday with the sunshine so I'll be going for something a little different with neutral and highlighted tones.

For my base, I'll be using my beloved Burberry Fresh Glow FoundationThis foundation gives a super dewy finish with a light to medium coverage, honestly I love this stuff. It's perfect for holidays as it feels really light on the skin and packs a super dewy punch so looks really fresh and glowy on the skin. It looks so natural on the skin and is really breathable so doesn't feel cakey or heavy at all on the skin. It blends in seamlessly and actually works into the skin rather than just sitting on top like some foundations do making it perfect for holidays.

Of course my Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder is coming away with me. There are literally no words. If you're an avid follower of Dreaming Pretty then you most likely know much love I have for this powder. I have this in shades 30 and 40 as I use the darker shade for contouring and the lighter shade as just a normal powder. I just love this and can't be without it. It's super lightweight so doesn't feel heavy or powdery on the skin and gives such a lovely healthy and radiant complexion. Also the scent of this powder is just...ah-mazing.

And then of course the YSL Les Sahariennes Blur Bronzer has been an absolute staple for me since purchasing it. With it's creamy soft formula it's so easy to apply and is completely buildable. It's almost as if you can't go over the top with this stuff, with it's creamy application and powder finish the skin just looks airbrushed and free of imperfections. I want to keep a really dewy finish so to help achieve this I am going to use the No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter this is a stick form highligher so is really easy and precise to apply. It blends like a dream and gives a lovely illuminated look to the face when applied to the high points, perfect for those sunny and warm holiday evenings. For the cheeks I want to keep it really natural so I will be wearing the Bourjois Aqua Blush in shade Inge-Nude just on the apples of my cheeks. It's a gel fluid that has a refreshing effect on the skin and gives a natural radiance and light finish to the skin. This shade in particular has got me hooked and I think I may well pick up every other shade in the collection. This particular shade I have found is perfect for this time of year to help to give a dewy finish. I have been wearing it with a minimal base, bright pink or coral lips and just simple eyes with a swish of mascara and I love it.

For the eyes, I want to keep it really simple so I will simply wear the Illamasqua Vintage Metallix in shade Courtier. I love this shadow. It's a creamy/nudey toned shade with little specks of colour mixed in. This is so soft and blendable, it applies like an absolute dream and sets nicely so you don't have to worry about touch ups or about it disappearing half way through the day. And then I'll just add a swipe of liner to finish the look off and I am currently using the Bourjois Liquid Liner Pen, it's a really slim liner with a small pen style nib and is perfect for creating a feminine flick.

Lastly, for the lips it's got to be MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in shade Peach Blossom. I love this lipstick, it's the perfect nudey pink toned lipstick I have ever tried or seen.

So how many of you have spent your birthdays away? Any product recommendations?
