Recent Empties

I know what you're thinking, how the hell does this girl get through so many products. Right? Well I've already mentioned I'm moving house so I'm trying to use up all my half full bottles, makes you realise just how many half full bottles I have ay. Well, you'll be glad to know that I think I'm finally starting to get through my collection so you might actually see something other than empties posts on Dreaming Pretty in the near future!

So lets go through these empties:

Skincare

I've had quite a good run on using up my skincare items recently, not sure why but it's probably the one category that I'm getting though the fastest. I have got a ridiculous amount of cleansers, facial exfoliators and facial washes so it's time I used them up. The Elemis Rehydratin Rosepetal Cleanser was one of my all time favourite cleansers. It's a really light milk type formula and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. But now we're coming into Autumn/Winter my skins need something a little heavier such as a balm so this needed using up ready for the next products to come in. I have had these three Philosophy products for coming up to near enough 2 years now so I desperately wanted to use them up as I knew they were probably well past their best before date. The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash wasn't my first choice of facial exfoliators by a long stretch of the imagination I found it a little too harsh on my dry skin but never the less I wanted to use it up as I hate throwing products away, you may aswell just chuck £30.00 down the toilet. Now this on the other hand I absolutely loved, the Microdelivery Peel is a two step process and leaves skin looking and feeling absolutely fabulous and glowing. I was originally bought this as a Christmas present and even though I do love it I don't think I'll re purchase as it's pretty pricey. Another skincare item is the Benefit Foamingly Clean Facial Wash, I like this wash but I don't love it. It leaves my skin with that squeeky clean feeling after use, which I know some people love, but with my dry skin I don't.

Haircare

You guys know the drill, of course there's a Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray in my empties. There always is. I don't really need to anything about this product as you all know how much I love it. Then another Charles Worthington empty is the Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse. I took this on holiday as it was a little travel size, I love this mousse. It gives great volume to my hair without the crispy feeling that most mousse's give.

Perfume

For perfume, this month I have used up my beloved Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense but this particular bottle I have had for a good couple of years so it was time I used it up really and I only had a tiny amount left anyway. It's a lovely deep musky scent that's perfect for Winter so I may just have to add this to my Christmas list so I've got some for the upcoming season.

Bodycare

I haven't up a great deal of my bodycare items this month, I have just used the Right Guard Vitamin C Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel. I don't always like gel based fruity shower gels as they can sometimes dry my skin out but this is actually pretty moisturising on the skin and plus the scent is just so fruity. It instantly awakens my senses in the morning and the scent lingers on my skin all day. I really actually love this stuff. And then the other product is the St Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil. It gives a lovely golden tan with no streaks whatsoever. I tend to apply it with a mitt as I find this easier but you can apply with your hands and then just wash them afterwards as it comes off really easily. The thing I love most about this tan is the scent, there's no distinct tanning smell. It actually smells really citrussy and refreshing and it also contains essential oils so is really moisturising for the skin so I might possibly re purchase this one when it comes to Summer 2016.

Makeup

There's always only a couple bits of makeup for this empties post but then I always find makeup harder to use up than other products as it does last quite a while. The only two items I have used up recently is the Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder. I love this stuff. I use this pretty much everyday and will always be re purchasing. Then the last item is the MaxFactor Facefinity Primer. Again I equally love this stuff just as much. I love use this single day to keep my makeup in place and it's great at doing it's job, it's literally like velcro for the face.

So they're my recent empties. Have you tried any of these products?
