Essie is probably one of my most favourite nail brands, the quality is definitely up there with the salon brands as a reasonably purse friendly cost. I picked up a couple of new shades recently so wanted to share with you my favourites for this time of year.
Leading Lady, unlike most glitter nail polishes this one has got some serious coverage going for it. You know with most glitter polishes they look great in the bottle but then when applied it's basically a clear polish with specks of glitter in it. Well, not this one. It covers the nail completely with glitter and is a lovely deep and rich red...perfect for this time of year when Christmas is approaching.
In Stitches is a lovely dusky blush pink. It's a really feminine shade that will just match any type of outfit. Containing no blue undertones it's perfect for this time of year as it has a warmer finish.
Maximillian Strasse Her is a slight duck egg blue shade with a slight minty green grey undertone in it making it the perfect cool toned shade for this time of year.
Lacquered Up is the perfect true red shade, there is nothing more seasonal for me then red for this time of year, need I say more.
As already mentioned Essie is definitely one of my favourite nail brands, I'd love to hear your recommendations on any other shades I should try.
