At this time of year I'm all about the cleansing balms, my skin is dry/dehydrated at the best of times so when it comes to Autumn/Winter my skin needs something a little heavier and richer to remove my makeup and clean my face. I have heard many a good thing about this cleansing balm so felt it was about time I gave it a go.
First things first, one of the main things I love most about this balm is that it's unscented so doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, I also don't like my skincare to be too heavily scented so this is perfect for me. It's a lovely lightweight balm that when massaged into the skin turns into a luxurious oil that helps to melt all traces of makeup and impurities away in one quick swipe. It feels super gentle on the skin and seriously hydrating which is exactly what I need at this time of year. To remove, I take a hot flannel and literally just wipe it away. It removes really easily, no scrubbing needed to the face and my skin is left feeling clean, fresh and nourished. With other products I have tried whilst, yes, they do leave my skin feeling clean, they also leave my skin feeling tight which this definitely doesn't do.
At £22.00 I genuinely think this is a really reasonable price. You only need the tiniest amount to suffice for the whole face and neck area so I can see this pot lasting for a good 3 months or so. I have tried my fair share of cleansing balms in my time and this is definitely up there with the favourites.
Have you tried this cleansing balm? What do you think of it?
