Current Purple Liner Picks

For this time of year I love a good purple liner, I just find it gives a much softer finish to eyes and also adds a little colour for this very colourful season. So I wanted to bring you my top three purple liners that I haven't been able to stop using over the past month.

Firstly, is the Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner. This was first released as just a black version and there was so much hype about it that I kinda lost interest in it and I pushed it to the back of my mind to try another time. However Benefit released 4 beautiful new shades about 6 months or so ago, that's right, s**t got real. The liner is exactly the same as the original black liner with the same click pen and rubber pointed nib for application but is now in purple. It's a lovely deep purple and believe me when I say this once applied it does not budge. It's a gel formula so applies effortlessly and doesn't drag the lid at all. I love this for evening looks as it a lot deeper in shade and perfect for those Wintery nights.

Next is the KIKO Mystery Smokey Eye Pencil in shade 6. It's a deep purple and is seriously well pigmented for a kohl liner. The colour payoff is incredible, it is so well pigmented and stays put all day/night. I have been wearing it with a berry toned smokey eye to add a pop of colour to the eyes.

Then lastly, is the No7 Stay Perfect Shade and Define Stick in shade Deep Purple. It's a bold purple with a slight shimmer. This is more of an eye shadow stick but I have been using it on the lower lash line against a gold toned smokey eye for a hit of colour. It's super well pigmented and looks incredible on the lids and lash line.

So they're my current favourite purple liners, any reccommendations?

  1. Purple eyeliners are wonderful! I picked up the Kiko Dark Tide Eyeliner in Tempting Violet. It's a beautiful dark purple-almost black liner that I've been reaching for a lot lately. Love the varying shades of purple that you have!
