H&M Beauty Collection

Yes I know, I'm a little late joining the band wagon but with all new releases I like to wait until the hype calms down and then try the products out myself, which is exactly what I've done with the H&M makeup items. There is a seriously massive array of products within the collection so it was pretty tough to settle on just a small number of products to try but I finally picked out these four items.

First is the Powder Blush in shade Golden Peach. The packaging for this blusher, for the whole collection at that, is surprisingly good quality and chic. It's plastic but then you've got to expect that when you look at the price, the only thing I feel this blusher misses is an interior mirror in the lid. The product itself is just shy of amazing, it's a peach blush with a golden shimmer running through it and let me tell you, the pigmentation is second to none. It picks up really well onto the brush, applies to the skin evenly and blends like an absolute dream. There are 10 shades within the range so you're pretty much guaranteed to find something to suit your skin tone.

Then I picked up a couple of eye products, an eye liner and an eye shadow pencil. The eye liner I got in shade Come In Third which is a really pretty copper shade, these liners are so incredibly creamy and soft, it's hard to believe they're only £3.99! Because of their creamy formula they are perfect for lining the eye as they don't drag at all. I will definitely be picking up some more shades of these. Then the shadow pencil I got in shade Treasure Hunt, this is probably my most favourite item of the lot. It's a lovely deep green shade with a gold undertone to it, it's perfect for this time of year all over the lid with a brown liner and a slight smokey outer corner. Just like the liners these shadows are really creamy and soft so don't drag the lid and the colour payoff is just incredible.

Lastly, I got a lipstick pencil in shade Rosy Outlook which is a really pretty girly pink shade. It's quite sheer but the colour can be built up, I was a little disappointed with this product just because the pigmentation isn't great, it's a lot more sheer than I was expecting. I tend to just wear this on days where I'm going eau naturelle and just want a slight hit of colour on my lips.

So they're the items I picked up from the H&M Beauty range, overall I am really quite impressed with the products and will definitely be picking up some more items. Do you have any recommendations?
