Recent Empties

It's that time again, more empties. I genuinely cannot believe how may products I'm getting through at the moment, I'm so proud of myself. It's feels like such an achievement to use all these products up. But I'm pretty much now at the finish line with products I wanted to use up, so these empties post will probably be a lot less.

The Sanctuary Therapists Secret Facial Oil has been a staple in my skincare routine for a good few months. It's a lovely oil containing a whole host of skin friendly ingredients. You know me and my oils and this was one did the job wonderfully. I'm not sure as I will re purchase it but that's just purely because I like to try other products from different brands. Another skincare empty is the Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Serum, oh my god I love this stuff. It is described as a high-powered serum that optimizes cell renewal to continually reveal fresher, healthier-looking skin. It's so velvety soft on the skin and gives an instant healthy lit from within glow. I use this every morning after cleansing and my skin tone is so much more even and my face is plumper and just generally more healthy looking. It sinks in almost immediately and leaves my thirsty skin feeling very suitably quenched. I can't put into words how much I love this serum but I have definitely found the one. Now this I will definitely re purchase, it's the one serum that really makes a massive difference to my skin.

That's right, my beloved Chloe has ran out, I love this perfume. It's so pretty and feminine and perfect for this time of year when you want something fresh and crisp for the daytime. It always reminds me of fresh bedding when I wear this fragrance, that just laundered type scent. This has most certainly made it's way onto my list for Santa.

In terms of makeup I haven't really used up that many products. Over the past couple of months I have literally just been wearing a primer and then concealer for my base, so I've very quickly been getting through my favourite Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. It's super creamy and blends just beautifully into my skin, I can't tell you how many tubes I have gotten through of this little beauty. Then I have also used up my other beloved product, the Seventeen Va Va Voom Mascara, I love this stuff. It gives great volume and length to the lashes, it doesn't clump and it's super cheap. I've already bought a new tube of this.

I seem to have a massive stash of body scrubs and one of these was this Clarins Exfoliating Body Scrub, over the past couple of months my skin has been really dry and flaky and this has been a life saver. It's quite a gentle scrub so doesn't leave my skin feeling sensitive, I really love this scrub and may actually re purchase it at some point.

Lastly, it's the Schwarzkopf Got 2 B Hairspray, this was just one of those things that I picked up in Boots when getting the boring everyday bits and bobs as it was on offer but actually I was reasonably impressed with it. It gives good hold without making the hair crunchy and the scent was pretty nice aswell. When it comes to hairspray I'm really not that precious, I tend to just buy whatevers on offer so I'm not sure I'll re purchase it as I tend to just get any old hairspray.

And that's it, my recent empties. Have you tried any of these products?

  1. Well done you on actually getting to the end of products haha - I find that I just re-buy and then have a huge stack of products to get through! :) I like the sound of the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. I'm on the hunt for a new concealer too and this sounds perfect xx
