Christmas Day Makeup

Christmas to me is all about rich colours and a lot of sparkle so to celebrate this on Christmas day I am wearing a red lip and gold eye combo. This is my perfect makeup look, it's really chic, effortless and naturally beautiful so I wanted to share with you the products I will be using to create this look.

For the base I just used my usual Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation and then gave my face a bit of warmth and colour with the Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder and the Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in shade Santa Rose.

Then for the important bits, for my eyes I used the L'Oreal Color Riche L'Ombre Pure Eye Shadow in shade Nude 204 all over my lid. This is the perfect shimmery gold for me. It's really subtle but gives the prettiest finish, the shadow itself is really creamy and buttery and blends just beautifully. Then to add a slight smoke for the outer corners and bottom lashes I use the Collection Eyes Uncovered Palette in Nude Bronze, I am completely love in with this palette. For us bronze/brown lovers this is the perfect palette and the shadows are such amazing quality for the bargain price. This palette is definitely up there with my top favourites of all time...yep, that's a bold statement I know but it is very close to perfection.

Then to line the eyes I use the Bourjois Liquid Liner Pen, it's a really slim liner with a small pen style nib and is perfect for creating a feminine flick, which I personally love with a gold eye. Then to line the bottom lash line I use the H&M Liner in Come In Third, this is a really pretty copper shade and compliments a gold eye just perfectly.

For the lips I just had to use the absolutely beautiful Burberry Kisses Lipstick in shade Military Red. This is a lovely bright cherry red that is perfect for this time of year in my opinion, it's super buttery and moisturising on the lips so doesn't dry them out in the slightest. For Christmas day I just had to use the most luxurious red lipstick I have and this is it.

Then to finish the look off I sweep a thin layer of the Burberry Gold Glow Luminising Powder in Gold No1, this stuff is just what dreams are made of. It gives the most beautiful glow to the skin without looking glittery and shiny, just the most beautiful Christmassy glow.

What makeup will you be wearing on Christmas day?
