New York Haul

So as you all probably know, I went to New York a couple of weeks ago for a girly Christmas shopping trip and of course picked up a few bits whilst in Sephora so I wanted to share these with you. I will more than likely be doing a full review on a couple of the items in the near future so this is more like a first impressions post.

Firstly is the Fresh Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy. Now you know me and serums so when I saw a serum for the lips I was instantly sold. I am going to do a full review on this product soon so I don't want to say too much other than I really quite like it. It instantly plumps the lips and makes the lip area smoother and more youthful. It's a really interesting product, as I haven't tried anything like it before but I really love it.

Nars have recently released their Steven Klein festive collection which contained a couple of eye shadows and I fell in love with the Never Too Late shade. It's a khaki green with a beautiful golden shimmer to it, I am really loving green eye shadows and liners for my eyes at the moment so this is just the ticket. It's super buttery and blends seamlessly, very beautiful.

How could I not pick up the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector, this is the highlighter of all highlighters. The pigmentation of this is just beyond impressive, you literally need the tiniest amount and it gives the most beautiful glow to the skin. I am completely smitten with this.

Then I picked up a couple of powder products, a bronzer and a finishing powder. I got the Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion in shade 20m and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in shade Dim Light. I also love these aswell. The bronzer very finely milled so sweeps onto the skin just beautifully and gives the perfect bronzed/warmth finish to the skin. I picked up a little mini of the Ambient Lighting Powder as I've never tried it before and they're pretty pricey so I thought I'll get a mini first to try and then I can still a full size at Space NK if I like it. I've only really used it a couple of times and I really like it, however I prefer to use it more of a highlighter than a powder.

Then the last item I got is the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in shade 03. It's such a pretty bright pink shade that I know will be perfect for any time of year. I haven't been able to stop wearing it since purchasing and I always get so many compliments when I wear it.

So they're the products I picked up and I'm genuinely really pleased with every single item and I'm already preparing my next wish list.
