15 Favourites From 2015

It's now 2016. 2015 all in all wasn't a great year, it had it's ups and downs and I'm glad to see the back of it to be honest but 2016 on the other hand is set to be a pretty exciting year so I'm looking forward to all that's going to happen. Last year I didn't do a yearly favourites post and I felt like I missed out so wanted to make sure I did one this year. I've brought together 15 of my most favourite products from this year to tell you about, I will apologise now for the length of this post but I didn't want to miss any products out. So here are my 2015 favourites:

Body Shop Honey & Oat Face Mask. I love this stuff. It helps to smooth and refine, moisturise and condition and gently exfoliates the dead skin cells away. Because of the cold weather, central heating and amount of makeup that's piled onto my skin at this time of year for all the Christmas parties my skin doesn't know whether it's coming or going and this mask just helps to keep it calm, soothed and moisturised. It's also a great mask for giving the perfect Christmas glow. I can't even tell you how it does it but whenever I use this mask my skin is left with the most beautiful lit from within glow. I always apply this mask in the day/afternoon before I'm going out as a sort of pre mask as it gives the perfect glowy base for my makeup.

Essie In Stitches Nail Polish is a lovely dusky blush pink. It's a really feminine shade that will just match any type of outfit. Containing no blue undertones it's perfect for this time of year as it has a warmer finish.

MAC Peach Blossom Lipstick which is from the Creme Sheen range. This is slightly more rose/mauve toned than Creme Cup and is a lot more subtle. This is one of my all time favourite lipsticks, I love the dusky nude pink tone to this lipstick. It's one of those lipsticks that you can just chuck on without a mirror and go.

Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil is incredibly silky light. It sinks into the skin almost immediately and doesn't leave any residue behind whatsoever. It's so lightweight so doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy at all. I tend to use everyday for work and then also when I know I'll be wearing makeup for majority of the day as this oil sinks in super quick and doesn't leave any residue so offers a great base for makeup to be applied onto but also gives a massive hydration kick that my skin definitely needs if I'm going to wearing makeup all day.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector, this is the highlighter of all highlighters. The pigmentation of this is just beyond impressive, you literally need the tiniest amount and it gives the most beautiful glow to the skin. I am completely smitten with this. Considering I only purchased this at the start of December whilst I was in New York means it is a pretty bloody fantastic product to have already made it into my yearly favourites.

MaxFactor Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipstick in shade So Vivid is a really bright and true pink, perfect for any season as it's bright enough for Summer but also still has a little warmth running through it making it perfect for Winter.

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray*. I use this spray every single day, I apply a little spritz before curling with the straightners to help keep the curls in place and then spray all over after styling to inject some volume and body. I am known within my circle of friends and family for rocking the big hair look and this product is just perfect for creating that look. This is definitely a cult product for me and will be forever re purchasing it.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Sleek Perfector Oil, this is the hair oil of all hair oils. No matter how much of this stuff I apply my hair never gets greasy or weighed down. Every time I reach for this oil I know my hair will be left healthy looking and strong with no split ends.

Mandara Spa Blooming Bath & Shower Oil* generally I'm not a massive fan of gel based shower products as they really dry my skin out so the moment I laid my eyes on this product it was love. When dispensed it's an oil but the moment it is within contact of water or applied to the body it turns into a rich creamy milk. It contains coconut and sweet almond oil that both help to nourish and moisturise the skin.

L'Oreal Color Riche L'Ombre Pure Eye Shadow in shade Nude 204 is the perfect shimmery gold for me. It's really subtle but gives the prettiest finish, the shadow itself is really creamy and buttery and blends just beautifully.

The Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eye Shadow Palette this is a great drugstore palette, containing 5 shades you can create a sultry plummy smokey eye. I absolutely love this palette, it really compliments my eye colour and the price is super attractive.

Sarah Chapman Skin Insurance SPF. It's so important to wear a facial SPF all year round, not just in the summer and this is quite possibly the most impressive hybrid of all the facial SPF's that I have ever tried or even heard of. Aswell as protecting the skin from the harmful UV rays it also helps to hydrate and illuminate the skin giving a lit from within finish to the face. I just apply this on top of the morning facial oil and I'm good to go.

Sarah Chapman Intense Hydrating Booster, this is a serum to be used before an oil or cream and gives an instant moisture boost. It is seriously hydrating which is exactly what my skin is in need of. I use this on a daily basis as my evening serum and every morning I wake up I am amazed at the results. My skin is guaranteed to look plump, healthy and glowing every time I use this.

Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm. Now previously when I've used flash balms I haven't been able to get on with them, I've always found them too sticky for my skin and they also tend to bobble when massaging into the skin but not this one, oh no. This is like a hybrid of moisturiser, flash balm and primer all in one. It is so silky soft upon application and smooths onto the skin effortlessly. For me, a serum and an spf/tinted moisturiser isn't enough hydration on their own for my skin which is why I love this flash balm. As already mentioned my skin can get a little oily throughout the day but my skin type is dry/dehydrated so I have eventually come to the realisation that instead of using just one really hydrating and heavy cream on my face it is better to use a number of light layers. This flash balm, for me, is perfect for that middle layer. It offers a lovely light layer of hydration, it gives the perfect base for my spf to be applied onto and it helps to seal in the much needed moisture from my serum. This is super illuminating on the skin aswell, it doesn't contain any glitter or sparkle, just good skin friendly ingredients that work with your skin to give that lit from within finish.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This is super creamy and blends just beautifully into my skin, I can't tell you how many tubes I have gotten through of this little beauty. It doesn't crease and completely disguises my dark circles and blemishes.

So that's it, my 2015 favourites. What have your's been? Any recommendations for me to try in the New Year?
