'Your beautician in a bottle, a daily treatment to refine and reduce skin imperfections' is how This Works describe this product. It is intended to be an extra step in your beauty routine, a pre serum if you like, to be used after cleansing and before your serum. It aims to reduce skin imperfections by gently exfoliating and hydrating the skin thanks to the hyaluronic acid. It's a water based product so is incredibly light on the skin and absorbs almost instantly.
To apply, you simply pump a couple of drops into the palms of the hands and then gently press onto the face and neck. It leaves no residue behind or tightness of the skin, it's as if the step never really happened, like I dreamt it, giving the perfect base to apply your skincare onto.
In terms of packaging, I love it. It has a pump style top so is easy to use, hygienic and means you can be a lot more precise with the amount of product you dispense. Also the rounded white bottle looks super sleek on my dressing table.
I have been using this morning and evening and have seen a massive difference in my skin, I have been getting a lot less blemishes and the blemishes that I did have disappeared within a day or so of using this. My skin is generally more plump and healthy looking, I don't necessarily put this solely down the change in my skin, as I reckon I may have cracked it with my skincare products, but it has definitely made a contribution.
If you're thinking do I really need yet another step in my skincare then the answer is yes, yes you do. This stuff has now become an absolute staple for me.
Have you tried this product? What do you think of it?
